Visitation will be 5 to 10 p.m. today and 8 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Montegut Fire Station. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial at the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, John M. Smith of Montegut; sons, David James Smith and Tommy John Smith; brothers, Ernest and Joseph Crochet of Montegut; sisters, Rosie Bourg, Beatrice Trahan of Montegut and Gertie Johnson of Houma; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Alixiana Price Crochet; brothers, Paul, Walter, Wicklef and Henry Crochet; and sister, Josephine Bourg. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
