Vivian Torres

Vivian Brignac Torres, 88, a native of St. James and resident of Vacherie, died 
Feb. 21, 2005.

Visitation will be 8:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Philip Catholic Church in 
Vacherie. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at 
the church, with burial at St. James Catholic Mausoleum in St. James.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Judith and Donald Delatte Jr., 
Sidney and Shirley Torres of Raceland, Michael and Mary Ann Torres of Thibodaux 
and Gerald and Mary Torres of Vacherie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pierre and Leontine Montz Brignac; 
siblings, Eliska Pierce, Edith Engeran, Eula LeBlanc, Emma Oubre, Etta Brignac, 
Pearl Hagedorn and Ewell Torres; and granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Torres.

Ourso Funeral Home of Donaldsonville is in charge of arrangements.
