Wilson Busey

Wilson "Buster" Henry Busey Sr., 80, a native of Topeka, Kansas and resident of 
Vacherie, died at 3:23 a.m. Feb. 8, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Thibodaux Funeral Home in Thibodaux. 
A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with 
burial at First Baptist Cemetery in Thibodaux.

He is survived by his sons, Wilson Jr., William and Russell Busey; daughters, 
Dora Bergeron and Mary Chenier; brother, Earl Busey; 15 grandchildren; and five 
great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Canady Busey; parents, William and 
Nellie King Busey; daughter, Fannie Busey; brothers, Justin and Jimmie Busey; 
and sister, Bertha Busey.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
