Augustin Theriot					[Photo]

Augustin "Gus" Theriot, 102, a native and resident of Raceland, died at 9:10 
a.m. Jan. 2, 2005.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic 
Church in Raceland. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. 
Wednesday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his daughter, Mildred T. Bourgeois; grandchildren, Nancy B. 
Foret, Chris G. Bourgeois and Karen B. Breaux; great-grandchildren, Nicole M. 
Bourgeois and Jai J. Breaux; great-great-grandchild, Abby Joel Thomassie; 
sisters, Inez T. Boudreaux and Ethel T. Foret.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 77 years, May Bourgeois Theriot; 
parents, Louis Sr. and Mathilde Gaudet Theriot; brother, Louis Theriot Jr.; 
grandchild, Joel J. Bourgeois; and sisters, Edwith T. Melancon, Elena T. Babin, 
Edna T. Degruise, Lydia T. Danos and Exse T. Waguespack.

He was a parishioner of St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church.

Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
