Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery. She is survived by her daughters, Ruth Toups and husband, Anson, Janice Martinez and husband, Charles, and Judy Prejean; brother, John Pere Jr.; sisters, Mary Pack, Edna Dufrene, Lois Pellegrin, Elsie Phillip and Dorothy Dufrene; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Antoine Savoie; daughter, Susan Savoie; brothers, Eddie and Henry Pere; and sisters, Jane Mayet, Margaret Autin and Blanche Bourgeois. She was a homemaker and parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church who enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Donations to St. Jude's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn., 38105-1942, are preferred. Samart Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
