Derrick Plaisance

Derrick J. Plaisance, 23, a native and resident of Galliano, died Jan. 5, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Samart Funeral Home in Cut Off. A 
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church in Galliano, with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his parents, Lawrence Plaisance and Julie Fischer; brother, 
Lawrence Plaisance Jr.; and grandparents, Warren Fischer and Delphine Hebert.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Shirley Fischer; and brother, 
Brandon Eymard.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
