Visitation will be 5 to 10 p.m. today at Montegut Fire Station and 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Curvin "Brud" and Bernadette Chauvin of Montegut, Perry and Linda Chauvin of Raceland; daughters and sons-in- law, Judy Chauvin Belanger and Leonard Belanger of Chauvin, Dennia "Deanie" Chauvin Smith and Ted Smith of Baton Rouge; brothers, Loches and Edward LeBouef of Pointe-aux-Chenes; sisters, Thelma Dupre of Montegut and Ester LeCompte of Pointe-aux-Chenes; grandchildren, Tanya Whatley, Brandi Chaisson, Kandi Chauvin, Andy Chauvin, Stacie "Becky" Clay, Ryan Chauvin, Kristi Falgout, Curt Bourg, Shannon Breaux, Michelle Belanger, Lynn Belanger, Scott Chauvin, Eric Chauvin Byron Smith and Shelly Smith; and great-grandchildren, Curtis Chauvin, William Chauvin, Reed Whatley, Adam Chaisson, Siera Chaisson, Jacob Pierron, Ayden Chauvin, Scott Clay, Chloe Clay, Kiera Falgout, Brooke Bourg, Megan Bourg, Collin Breaux, Kayli Breaux, Colten Breaux, Jenna Belanger and Lynn Belanger Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Malvin J. "T-Lut" Chauvin; parents, Clarify and Clothilde Naquin LeBouef; son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Charlotte Ledet Chauvin; brothers, Camille, Leon, Calvin, Luby and Errol LeBouef; and sister, Inez Authement. She was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother, wife and friend who will be missed by all who loved her. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and a past member of the Sacred Heart Ladies Altar Society. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
