Linda Viviano Brown, 50, a native of Opelousas and resident of Houma, died at 
12:05 a.m. Jan. 10, 2005.

No services are scheduled.

She is survived by her husband, Darrell Brown; mother, Jacqueline Viviano; sons, 
Jason Mertens and Joshua Martin; daughter, Jodi Mertens; brothers, Jimmy Viviano 
and Michael Viviano; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Viviano; and son, Chris Kennedy.

She was Catholic.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
