Lorena Bourgeois

Lorena Marie Plaisance Bourgeois, 85, native of Larose and resident of Westwego, 
died Jan. 22, 2005.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at noon today at Our Lady of Prompt 
Succor Catholic Church in Westwego, with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Woodrow "Pete" Henry Bourgeois; children, Henry 
"Hank" Bourgeois David Bourgeois Sr. Rosalie B. Robichaux, Joseph Bourgeois Sr., 
Girard Bourgeois and Timothy Bourgeois; childrens' spouses, Beverly, Emelda 
"Flossie," Stanley, Betty, Beth and Susan; grandchildren, David Jr., Kelly, 
Kathy, Shane, Scott, Steve, Jay, Juliana, Valerie, Hannah, Michael, Adam, 
Annette, Thomas, Matthew and Eric; step-grandson, Nathan; great-grandchildren, 
Dustin, Coleen, Alexis, David III, Sydney, Danny and Samantha; step-great-
grandchildren, Jacob and Austin; siblings, Lena Gauthreaux, Evelyn "Velma" 
Adams.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marie Richardelle Plasiance and 
Alexandre U. Plaisance; and siblings, Mamie Dobson, Alex Plaisance, Eugene 
Plaisance and Tillman Plaisance.
