Lorida Serigny						[Photo]

Lorida Pitre Serigny, 77, a native and resident of Galliano, died Jan. 23, 2005.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at Our Lady of Prompt 
Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, with burial at Cheramie Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Garrett Serigny; daughter and son-in-law, Rhondalyn 
and Lee Darville; daughter-in-law, Cindy Serigny; brothers, Dumas and Easton 
Pitre; grandchildren and their spouses, Kelly and Christopher Falgout; Jeaut'am 
and R.J. Guillotte, Gavin Porche, Lachelle Darville and Mariah Serigny; and 
great-grandchildren, Kelsi Serigny and Malaina Falgout.

She was preceded in death by husband, Magloris Serigny; companion, Adolph 
Bourgeois; parents, Dumas and Helise Plaisance Pitre; son, Bradley Serigny; 
daughter, Pamela Serigny; brother, Edward Pitre; and sisters, Lorita Falgout and 
Josephine Guidry.

Her passions included family and friends, gardening and finding humor in 
everything.
