Magnus Voisin Sr.					[Photo]

Magnus "Lookie" Voisin Sr., 73, a native and resident of Dulac, died at 10 p.m. 
Jan. 15, 2005.

Visitation will be 4 to 9 p.m. today at Samart Funeral Home in Houma an 8 to 11 
a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Dulac. A Mass of Christian burial 
will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at the church 
cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Elvira "Blackie" Klingman Voisin; son, Magnus Voisin 
Jr.; daughters, Nancy V. Parfait and Rose V. Breaux; brothers, Addie and Norman 
Voisin; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Laurant and Angel Trosclair Voisin; 
brothers, Clarence and Dalfres Voisin; and sisters, Josephine Lirette and Lorita 
Trahan, Lucretia and Theresa Voisin.

He was Catholic and a member of the Holy Name in the Knights of Columbus, fourth 
degree, and a board member of the Grand Caillou Fire Department.

He was a self employed fisherman.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
