Maria Griffin

Maria Gauthreaux Griffin, 40, a native of Raceland and resident of Houma, died 
at 9:15 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Mary's Catholic 
Church in Raceland. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in 
the church cemetery.

She is survived by her parents, Richard and Lois Mire Gauthreaux; one son, 
Reggie Griffin Jr.; one sister, Christine G. Breaux; her grandparents, Felix and 
Earline Landry Mire and Aline Dufrene Gauthreaux; and two grandchildren, Mary 
Leslie Griffin and Loleda Griffin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Reggie Griffin Sr.; and her 
grandfather, Alex P. Gauthreaux.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
