Roland Cole						[Photo]

Roland N. Cole, 71, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Dec. 30, 2004.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at New Morning Star Baptist 
Church in Labadieville. A religious service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at 
the church, with burial at the church cemetery.

He was the guardian of Alisa Ward and Trayon Ward of Thibodaux; brothers, 
Clarence Anderson Sr. of Houma, and LeRoyal Cole Sr. of Port Allen; and sister, 
Fawvette Coleman of New Orleans.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Essie Johnson Cole; parents, Alice Cole 
Anderson and Paul Cole; brother, Lionel Cole; and sister, Eldora Cole.

He was a member of New Morning Star Baptist Church and served on the usher 
board.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
