Sadie DeFord

Sadie Perrin DeFord, 89, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of Cut Off, 
died at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 6, 2004.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of 
Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, with burial at the church 
cemetery.

She is survived by her sister, Hilda Orgeron; six grandchildren; 14 great-
grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Alidore Perrin; second husband, 
Robert DeFord; parents, Edward and Edna Cheramie; daughter, Peggy Perrin Vizier; 
brothers, Emile, Hillary, Perry and Edward Cheramie; sisters, Clara Stern, Anna 
Templeton and Virginia Marek.

She was Catholic.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
