Visitation will be 6 to 10 p.m. today and 8 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel, with burial at St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Gautreaux Arceneaux of Houma; sons, Bobby Arceneaux of Houma and Gregory Arcenaux of Chauvin; daughter, Jeanette A. Hebert of Houma; brother, John Arceneaux of Houma; six grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clemile and Zelide Punch Arceneaux; brothers, Whitney, Camille, Emile, Maurice and Elmore Arceneaux; sisters, Cora A. Verrett, Theresa A. Pierce and Fran A. Smith. He was a retired pumper for Texaco and a member of the VFW. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
