Vergie Christensen					[Photo]

Vergie B. Christensen, 70, a native of Venice and resident of Thibodaux, died 
Jan. 5, 2005.

Visitation will be 5 to 10 p.m. Friday and 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Thibodaux 
Funeral Home in Thibodaux. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday 
at the funeral home chapel, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Timmy Joseph Gonzeles, Bobby Joseph Gonzales and 
Ronnie James Christensen; daughter, Cindy Ann Gonzales Ryles; brothers, James E. 
Buras, Farrell A. Buras, Larry Steve Fitzgerald, Robert L. Fitzgerald, John C. 
Fitzgerald and Danny Wayne Fitzgerald; sisters, Lois Theresa Buras, Ann 
Fitzgerald Carter, Kim Fitzgerald Smith and Sandy Fitzgerald; eight 
grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester James Christensen; fathers, 
Anthony Dimitry Buras and John W. Fitzgerald; mothers, Marie Elizabeth Reese and 
Myrtle Gaudet Fitzgerald; son, Danny Joseph Gonzales; brother, Leroy Joseph 
Buras; and sister, Rosemary Theresa Buras Squarsich.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
