Wallace "Pete" Joseph Brooks, 65, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Jan. 
17, 2005.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.. Friday at St. Luke Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A 
wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the church.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.

He is survived by his mother, Camille Brooks of Thibodaux; daughters, Patricia 
Brooks of Arlington, Texas and Sheryl Barbosa of Elmendorf, Texas; son, Thaddeus 
Eugene Horn of San Antonio; sisters, Maxine Bell of Jackson, Miss. and Frances 
Billizon of Thibodaux; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace H. Brooks; brother, Alfred 
Books; and sister, Patricia Brooks.

He was a retired bus driver with Via Transportation Company in San Antonio and a 
retired U.S. Postal Service employee.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
