Visitation will be 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at Robottom Mortuary in Hahnville and 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in St. John Catholic Church Cemetery. He is survived by his mother, Leola Dickerson of Thibodaux; sons, Ronnie Paul Dickerson of St. Rose and John Cook of Mobile, Ala.; daughters, Angela D. Mack and Antoinette D. Tate, both of St. Rose; brothers, Oliver Dickerson of Los Angeles, Martin Dickerson Sr. of Houma, and Raymond Dickerson of Thibodaux; sisters, Laura D. Harris of Houma, Faye D. Fullwood of Milwaukee, Mary Dickerson of Waukeegan, Ill., Willa Dickerson of Thibodaux and Roxanne D. Robin of New Orleans; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Talbert Dickerson; father, Andrew Dickerson Sr.; and brothers, Andrew Dickerson Jr. and Calvin John "Francis" Dickerson. He was a retired laborer and a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan.
