Dan Pontiff

Dan C. Pontiff, 45, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, died at 5:30 
p.m. May 31, 2005.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to noon Friday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. A 
memorial service will be held at noon Friday at the funeral home.

He is survived by his parents, Gene Pontiff and Joanne B. Nicol; stepfather, 
George A. Nicol; son, Scotty T. Pontiff; daughter, Michelle P. Winn; brother, 
Lester John Chaisson; sisters, Karla Meche of Lafayette and Evelyn Bailey of 
Greenback, Tenn.; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann Pontiff.

He was Catholic, an avid bowler, a fisherman and Boy Scout.
