Dorothy Jupiter Smith, 65, a native and resident of Napoleonville, died June 11, 
2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Shakana Glory Full Gospel Baptist 
Church in Donaldsonville. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday 
at the church, with burial at Greater Israel Baptist Church Cemetery in Belle 
Alliance.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Smith Sr. of Napoleonville; daughter, 
Wanda Johnson of Paincourtville; sons, Michael Jupiter of Houston, Clarence 
Jupiter of New Orleans, Joseph Smith Jr. of Bertrandville and Christopher Smith 
of Napoleonville; sisters, Betty Burd, Hester Williams and Brenda Morris, all of 
Napoleonville; Gertrude Smith of New Orleans, Bernice Jupiter of Labadieville 
and Dianne Williams of Gray; brothers, Larry and Lionel Jupiter of Napoleonville; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and other relatives 
and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace Sr. and Letha Jupiter.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
