Edwin Bernard, 78, a native and resident of Raceland, died June 28, 2005.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. today and 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at Falgout Funeral 
Home in Raceland. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. 
Friday at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland, with burial at the 
church cemetery.

He is survived by his son, Edwin J. Bernard; sisters, Eldora Dunne and 
Marguerite Detillier; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bridget Robichaux Bernard; parents, Eugene 
and Marie B. Bernard; son, Edward J. "Coonie" Bernard; brother, Henry Bernard; 
sister, Mabel Boudreaux; and one grandchild.

Donations to the family for expenses are preferred.

Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
