Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at New Mount Zion Baptist Church in Larose, and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. A wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday at the church. The religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery. She is survived by her daughters, Edora Grigsby of Houston, Ezolia Johnson of Larose; brothers, Issac Vallien and Joseph Vallien of Larose, and the Rev. Austin Dennis of Westwego; sisters, Sarah Mae Sam of Carencro and Elsie Mae Thomas of Houston; she is also survived by eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Bellard Sr.; son, Mitchell Bellard Jr.; and brothers, Ivory Vallian, Izeal Vallian, and Easton Dennis. She was a member of New Mount Zion Baptist Church and served on the Deaconess Board. Her hobbies included sewing and baking. Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
