A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Labadieville, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her son, Cyprien Barras and wife Patsy of Napoleonville; daughters, Marian B. Vega of Donaldsonville, Gladys B. Molitor and husband Millard of Houma; and Peggy B. Boudreaux and husband Robert of Napoleonville; 20 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; six step- great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Whitney Henry Barras; parents, Valsin and Corrine Martin Westerman; brothers, Clerfy, Leonard and Camille Westerman; son-in-law, Sidney V. Vega Jr.; great-grandson, Timmy Barras; two infant grandchildren; an infant great-grandson; and Joseph H. Breaux, the husband of her granddaughter, Diane Breaux. She was truly loved by all of her family and will be greatly missed by all. Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangement.
