Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in New Orleans. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon Wednesday at the church, with burial at Hope Mausoleum in New Orleans. She is survived by her sons, Roland Joseph Hymel Jr. of Waveland, Miss., and Patrick A. Hymel of Folsom; daughters, Marie Hymel Weidner of Long Beach, Miss., Edmee' Hymel Baird of Fort Worth, Texas, Kathleen Hymel Shirer of Poplarville, Miss., Elizabeth Hymel Eckert of Ocean Springs, Miss.; sisters, Margie Waguespack Schmidt of Metairie and Gladys Waguespack Sulm of Vacherie; brother, Stanislaus J. Waguepack Jr. of Vacherie; 24 grandchildren; and 36 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Joseph Hymel; sisters, Enola Waguespack McLachlan of Metairie, Eunice Waguespack Granier of Baton Rouge, Doris Waguespack Everett of New Orleans; and brothers, Jess and Harold Waguespack, both of Vacherie.
