Visitation will be 5 to 10 p.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and 8:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Georgiana Granier Luke of Houma; sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce Paul and Maria Luke of Reston, Va., Craig Anthony and Sharon Luke of Grand Caillou and Allan Anthony and Carla Luke of Houma; brother, Arthur Luke of Houma; sister, Florence L. Guidry of Grand Caillou; grandchildren, Carlos Andres Luke, Jamie Lee Luke, Monique Ann Luke and Kira Ann Luke; great-grandchild, Kaysia Monique Stove; and godchildren, Keith Cortez, Robert Fonseca and Ashley Granier. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Azelie Fanguy Luke; and brother, Claude Luke Sr. He was a retired commercial fisherman. He was a past member of Gran Caillou Volunteer Fire Department, the American Legion of Chauvin, Woodmen of the World Chauvin, Bayou Coin Club, Elks, an usher of the Holy Family Church, member of Holy Name Society Knights of Columbus Dulac Council, fourth degree; VFW Post 4752 as a past commander and quarter master. He worked at the Council of Aging, he was a member of the Cursillo Movement and he loved to sing and play the guitar. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Airborne division. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
