Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday with an 8 p.m. memorial service at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Gray. Religious services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the church with burial in Halfway Cemetery. She is survived by one daughter, Lorraine Walker Woods and husband, Adam Woods Sr.; two brothers, Claude Adams Sr. and Henry Adams; two sisters, Gladys Zilton and Marion Bachelor; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; two godchildren; seven sisters-in-law; and two brothers-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Quincy Adams and Blance Adams; husband, the Rev. Johnny Brown; six brothers, Earl, Richard, Sam, Lawrence, Nolan and Cleveland Adams; and four sisters, Mary Moore, Delores Evans, Thelma Johnson, and Lillian Riley. She was a retired housekeeper for three of the priests at St. Bridget Church and was retired from Southdown Care Center.
