Anna Gueffier

Anna M. Gueffier, 98, a native and resident of Des Allemands, died at 5:27 p.m. 
March 17, 2005.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gertrude Church in Des 
Allemands. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at the 
church, with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her sisters, Cerene "FiFi" Matherne and Gladys Schaubhut.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jean "Frenchy" Gueffier; parents, 
Charles Sr. and Marie Touchard Matherne; brothers, John, Charles Jr. and Don 
Matherne; and sisters, Cecile Schaubhut, Blanche Lejeune and Lucille Lejeune.

She was a parishioner of St. Gertrude Catholic Church and a member of the St. 
Gertrude Ladies Altar Society.

Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
