Bemis Joseph

Bemis "Couchie" Joseph, 97, a native of Taft and resident of Lucy, died at 9:09 
p.m. March 9, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at St. John Catholic Church in Edgard.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, 
with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his sister, Alberta Santiago; eight grandchildren; and 34 
great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgiana Martin; parents, Adam Joseph and 
Marie Louise Johnson Joseph; son, Samuel Rudolph Joseph Sr.; 14 brothers; and 
three sisters.

Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
