Cecile Peltier Toups, 76, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died March 21, 
2005.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux and 
8 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Co-cathedral in Thibodaux. A Mass of 
Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with 
burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd Toups; sons, George and Stephen Toups; 
daughter, Martha Toups Verdin; sisters, Florence P. Molaison and Theresa P. 
Toups; and one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Marie Gaudet Peltier; and 
sister, Frances P. Maureaux.

She was a retired school teacher with 20 years of service with the Lafourche 
Parish School Board.

Landry's Funeral Home of Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
