Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Baptist Church in Napoleonville. A religious service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Ledora Daggs of Napoleonville; sons, Harry Daggs of Las Vegas, Nev., Charles Daggs Jr., of Houma, Eric Daggs of Napoleonville, and Alvin Parker of Houston; daughters, Betty Henderson, Phyllis Walker, and Theresa Adams of Napoleonville, Janel Smith of Baton Rouge, Brenda Daggs and Debbie Daggs of Las Vegas; sisters, Ophelia Hubbard of Florida, Florida Nicholas of Alexander, Rose Mary Dixon, Dorothy Gustave, Viola Myles, and Wunita Simoneaux of Napoleonville; 30 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lillie Daggs; parents, Eugene and Elizabeth Woods Daggs; brothers, Joseph Daggs Sr., and Andrew Daggs Sr., and sister, Mildred Daggs. He attended St. Paul Baptist Church. His hobbies included cooking, and gardening. Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
