David Phares

David "Greaux" John Phares, 45, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, died at 
5:45 a.m. March 14, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic 
Church in Golden Meadow. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 
a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial at Cheramie Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Brown Phares; brother, Jack Phares; and 
sisters, Mary Cox and Betty Orgeron.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jefferson D. Phares and Mary Guidry 
Phares.

He enjoyed playing bingo, making model cars and boats.

He was a shrimper.

Donations for funeral expenses are preferred.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
