Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at St. Philip Catholic Church in Vacherie. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. today at the church, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Vacherie. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Whitney J. Poirrier; daughters, Cheryl P. Radosta, Kay P. Matherne and Monique P. Magee; grandson, Scott Whitney Radosta; brother, Joseph Himel; sisters, Bea H. Easley, Doris Aucoin and Gertrude H. Owens; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Emma Clement Himel; brothers, Edward and Norman Himel; and sisters, Elva Chaisson and Anna Mae Raziano.
