Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Raceland. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Hilary, with burial at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport. She is survived by three sons, Paul, Roy and Leroy Cheramie; two brothers, Villier and Moise Landry; three sisters, Leona Bourgeois, Annie Matherne and Una Ledet; a stepsister, Doris Sanchez; and 17 grandchildren and 25 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Cheramie Jr.; parents, Luicien Felician Landry and Ernestine Rousso Landry; stepmother, Marie Vicknair Landry; son Calvin Cheramie; daughter Joyce Melancon; two brothers, Ernest and Eugene Landry; three sisters, Noby Levron, Mildred Blanche Keller and Bernice Aucoin; and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was a parishioner of St. Hilary. Falgout Funeral Homes Inc. in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
