Eva "Puney" Pellegrin Duthu, 71, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of 
Grand Caillou, died at 2 a.m. March 1, 2005.

Visitation will be 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and 8:30 to 11 
a.m. Thursday at Bayou Blue Assembly of God. A religious service will be held at 
11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial at Holy Family Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Claude "C.J." Duthu Sr. of Grand Caillou; son, 
Claude J. "Buddy" Duthu Jr. of Grand Caillou; daughter, Debra L. Parfait of 
Grand Caillou; sisters, Joyce "Bea" Dupre of Bourg, Geraldine "Dee-Den" Gill of 
Grand Caillou and Carolyn "Noonie" LeBlanc of Chauvin; four grandchildren; and 
three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Justin and Leonise Carrere Pellegrin; 
son, Ray Joseph LeBlanc; brothers, Jessie, Percy, Anthony and Murphy Pellegrin; 
sisters, Beulah "Meon" Voisin, Esther "T-Lou" Price, Elvie "Beb" Griffin and 
Evella Pellegrin.

She was a homemaker and a member of Bayou Blue Assembly of God Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
