Florestine Bourg

Florestine Gassen Bourg, 87, a native and resident of Luling, died at 5:10 a.m. 
March 3, 2005.

Visitation will be 8:30 to 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church in 
Luling. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at the 
church, with burial at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Taft.

She is survived by her son, Lionel Bourg Sr.; brothers, Sidney Sr. and John 
Gassen; sisters, Ida Lorio and Violet Vieth; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Baptist and Evelina Jordan 
Gassen; and sisters, Emma Boudreaux, Anna Rousselle, Evelina Falgout and Stella 
Wilson.

She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church.

Donations for Masses are preferred.

Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
