Irene Starks Jacobs, 49, a native and resident of Napoleonville, died March 11, 
2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Bright Morning Star Baptist Church 
in Napoleonville. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the 
church, with -burial at Woodlawn United Methodist Church Cemetery in 
Napoleonville.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Jacobs Jr.; daughters, Erica J. Wells, 
Pamela S. Butler, Tamica S. Davis and Tamara Starks; sons, Elvis, Edrick and 
Joseph Starks; father, Herman Starks; sisters, Rosemary S. Steele, Chris S. 
Pittman, Irma S. Gaskin, Carol S. Chatman and Sheila Starks; brothers, Herman 
Jr., Herbert and Richard Starks; and 11 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Cora Lee Bell Starks; and son, Jamal 
Starks.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
