Jasper Plaisance

Jasper Joseph Plaisance, 73, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano, 
died at 2:14 a.m. March 9, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic 
Church in Golden Meadow. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 
a.m. Friday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Merle Dupre Plaisance; daughters, Nadine P. Tokuyama 
and husband Greg Tokuyama Sr.; Annette Plaisance, Donna P. Galiano and husband 
Floyd Galiano Jr.; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Betty Plaisance; and 
grandchildren, Marshall Tokuyama and Andrew Galiano.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eunis and Savie Cheramie Plaisance; and 
brother, Robert Plaisance.

He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church and served in 
the U.S. Marine Corps.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
