A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Houma, with burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray. She is survived by her sons, Mike, Mark, Matt and Tim Kay; daughters, Deborah Robichaux and Candace Kay; sisters, Fannie Lee Faucheaux and Mary Ann Hutchinson; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Fred E. Kay; parents, George Lee and Irene Sterkins Cenac; brothers, Burt Lee Cenac, J.B. "Red" Cenac and Walt Cenac; and sister, Julia Cenac. She was Catholic and a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. She belonged to the Terrebonne Genealogical Society and was a seamstress. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Bayou Regions Hospice. Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
