Jerome Guidry Sr.

Jerome W. Guidry Sr., 87, a native and resident of Racleand, died at 8:30 a.m. 
March 24, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic 
Church in Mathews. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. 
Tuesday at the church, with burial at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery in Raceland.

He is survived by his wife, Isabelle Robichaux Guidry; son and daughter-in-law, 
Jerome W. Jr. and Beverly B. Guidry; daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn Ann G. 
and William E. Ritchie and Mary Elizabeth and Donald L. Riffle; sisters, Ruby G. 
Arcement and Nellie Guidry Cheramie; grandchildren, Timothy Scott Ritchie, Dawn 
Guidry Hodges, Kelly Elizabeth Ritchie, Ashley Angelle Guidry, Hunter Bunch 
Guidry and Scott Evans Riffle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome Pierre and Emma Collins Guidry; 
son, Thomas John Guidry; grandchildren, David Edward Ritchie, Shane Paul Guidry 
and Catherine Anna Ritchie; brothers, Ezra Pierre Guidry and Joseph Neal Guidry; 
sisters, Hazel Guidry Pelletier, Wilma Guidry Gajda and Carolette G. Friday.

He was a retired school administrator.
