Matilda Gaudet

Matilda B. Gaudet, 80, a native of Cow Island and resident of Lake Charles, died 
at 5:25 a.m. March 6, 2005.

Visiation will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at 
Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles. A Mass of Christian burial will be 
celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, with 
burial at Consolata Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Burtis Gaudet; daughters and sons-
in-law, Patricia and James Lejune and Garadeen "Deenie" and Bob Nordan Jr., all 
of Lake Charles; son, Ronald Jordan Gaudet of Houston; grandchildren, Brian and 
Joel LeJune, Bob II and Chris Nordan, Amy and Ronnie Gaudet Jr.; great-
grandchildren, Gabriel, Madeline and Jace LeJune, Bob IV, Reagan and Hannah 
Nordan; and godchild, Debbie Theriot of Creole.

Pallbearers include all the grandsons and Winn Theriot. Honorary pallbearers are 
James LeJune and Bob Nordan Jr.

Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
