Visitaton will be 8:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in the St. Charles community. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland. He is survived by his son, Nelson Foret Jr.; daughter, Ivadell Chauvin; brother, Oliver Foret; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anise Bourgeois Foret; parents, Willie Sr. and Victoria Danos Foret; brothers, Ridley, Mack, Harris, Nolan and Willie Foret Jr.; sister, Marie F. Zeringue. He was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He was the proprietor of Nelson's Bar, where he hosted duck calling contests. Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
