Preston Parfait					[Photo]

Preston H. Parfait, 70, a native and resident of Grand Caillou, died at 10:45 
a.m. March 6, 2005.

Visitation will be 4 to 9 p.m. today and 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Samart Funeral 
Home in Houma. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Prevost 
Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Parfait; sons, Preston Parfait Jr. and 
Clarence Guidry Jr.; daughters, Dorrell Guidry, Cathy Dardar, Mae Edwards, Elma 
Robichaux, Rita Ann Martin, Merita Solet and Leona Self; brother, Hilton 
Parfait; sister, Mary Scott; 31 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Rosalie Verdin Parfait; 
brother, Dennis Parfait Jr.; and grandson, Joshua Fanguy.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
