Tarvarous Smith					[Photo]

Tarvarous Terrell Smith, 8, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 5:50 
p.m. March 8, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Allen Chapel AME Church in 
Thibodaux. A religious service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. 
Burial will be at St. Peter Church Cemetery in Thibodaux.

He is survived by his mother, Sonya Smith; father, Melvin Martin of Thibodaux; 
brothers, Melvin Anthony Smith, and Terrell Anthony Martin of Thibodaux; 
sisters, Sonya Ann Martin, and Mya Smith of Thibodaux; grandmothers, Jenny 
Dunaway, and Shelia Smith of Thibodaux; grandfathers, Earl Martin Sr., and Larry 
Smith; and devoted step-grandfather, Murphy Van Buren.

He was preceded in death by his great grandmothers, Roselee Martin and Jenny 
Dunaway; and great grandfathers, Percy Dunaway and Lucius Martin Sr.

He was a member of Allen AME Church in Thibodaux. He enjoyed playing video games 
on computer, reading and going to church.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
