Tonya Marie Matherne, 21, a native and resident of Montegut, died at 5:25 p.m. 
March 9, 2005.

Visitation will be 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in 
Montegut. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at 
the church, with burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her parents, Barry T. and Earline Dupre Matherne; son, Mason 
Paul Matherne; sisters, Kandi M. and Tiffany M. Matherne.

She was Catholic.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
