Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Hillary Catholic Church in Raceland. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday at the church, with burial at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport. A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Hillary. She is survived by her son, Kenneth J. Adams; three grandchildren Mary Beth Lagrone, Allison Adams LeCoq and Cristel Adams Ivy; three great-grandchildren, Nicole Ashley and Katie Renee LeCoq and Connor Bruce Adams Ivy; and four brothers, Elvin Matherne, Eddie Matherne Jr., Raymond Matherne and Bobby Matherne' She was preceded in death by her husband, Clement "Kim" Adams; her parents, Eddie Sr. and Flore Thibodaux Matherne; a brother, Guy Matherne; and two sisters, Ruby Grabert and Rose Cretini. She was a Catholic and a parishioner at St. Hillary. She was a member of the Council of Catholic Women at St. Hillary, a 50-year member of the Freddie John Falgout post 3665 VFW Women's Auxiliary, a 15-year past president and 40-year member of the Lockport Carnival Club, a charter member of Central Lafourche AARP, a member of the Louisiana Society for crippled Children and Adults Lafourche Chapter, and was a mail carrier to the Gheens community for 40 years.
