Albert Billiot						[Photo]

Albert Adam Billiot, 96, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Larose, died 
at 2:25 a.m. May 22, 2005.

Visitation will be 5 to 10 p.m. today and 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at Samart Funeral 
Home in Cut Off. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. 
Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial at Cheramie Cemetery.

He is survived by his sons, Manson, Maurice, Davis and Tilden Billiot; 
daughters, Edith Wainwright, Ann LeBlanc, Gloria Cheramie and Ollie Verdin; 30 
grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Oxcila Mary Billiot; parents, Isidore and 
Rosalie Dardar Billiot; son, Antione Billiot; daughter, Gladys Billiot; 
brothers, Frank, Edison and Wilson Billiot; stepbrother, Dudley Dardar; and 
sister, Synder Dardar.

He enjoyed making castnets. He was a self-employed fisherman.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
