Visitation will be 6 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and 8:30 to 10 a.m. Friday at St. Eloi Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Elmer W. Thomas of Bayou Dularge; sons, Michael Bergeron of Houma, Travis Thomas of Pittsboro N.C. and Troy Thomas of Houma; daughters, Mona Jackson of Bayou Dularge and Monica Jackson of Charlston, Miss.; stepson, David W. Thomas of Silverton, Ga.; stepdaughters, Glenda Van Gilder of Florida, Rebecca Thomas of Sparta, Tenn., Danita Jara and Betty Ware of Florida. Brothers, Jackie Dupre of Thibodaux, Sidney Dupre and Gary Dupre of Waggaman; sister, Bobbie Chauvin of Bayou Dularge; 11 grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; and nine step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney Dupre Sr. and Bernice Belanger Dupre; granddaughter, Crystal Danielle Jackson; sister, Joyce D. Billiot. She was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church and was a member of its ladies auxiliary. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
