Donald Bergeron Sr.					[Photo]

Donald Joseph Bergeron Sr., 76, a native of Theriot and resident of Houma, died 
at 10:09 a.m. May 7, 2005.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Gregory 
Catholic Church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Lirette Bergeron of Houma; son, Donald 
Bergeron Jr. of Houma; daughters, Stephanie B. Breaux of Houma and Melanie B. 
Clark of Lafayette; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Bergeron Sr. and Nettie 
Bergeron; brothers, Lester, Raymond and Henry Bergeron; and sisters, Lydia 
LeCompte, Eula Mae Blanchard and Hazel Bonvillain.

He was a retired leadersman for J. Ray McDermott for 36 years. He enjoyed 
fishing and hunting and was a parishioner of St. Gregory Catholic Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
