Dorothy Duplantis					[Photo]

Dorothy "Dot" Babin Duplantis, 75, a native and resident of Houma, died at 5:45 
a.m. May 9, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma. A 
religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel, 
with burial at St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Steven and Jeff Duplantis; daughter, Karen Stewart 
of Montegut; brother, Richard Babin of Wyoming; sister, Jeanne Malbrough of 
Houma; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Joseph Duplantis; parents, 
Wilbert Joseph Babin and Odette Babin Babin; and brother, Freddie Babin.

She was a retired seamstress.

She attended First United Methodist Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
