Emile Rousse

Emile "P.P." Rousse, 83, a native of Leeville and resident of Galliano, died May 8, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in 
Galliano. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at 
the church, with burial at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Rose Mary Plaisance Rousse; sons and 
daughters-in-law, Jerry and Linda Rousse, Gary and Janet Rousse; foster son and 
daughter-in-law, Brian and Stacy Thibodeaux; granddaughters, Stacy Lorraine and 
Amber Thibodeaux; and great-grandchildren, Brayah and Bailey Lorraine.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ozema and Jolina Lombas Rousse; 
brothers, Blanchard, Webb and Marandon Rousse; sisters, Rosa Rousse Bourg and 
Olympe Rousse Chauvin.

He enjoyed fishing and harvesting oysters.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
